Park Information

Bovingdon Green is an award winning open space. 

Home to Bovingdon Cricket club, the Field is one of only 564 QEII Fields across the UK and will now be protected as a green space forever.  The Queen Elizabeth II Fields Challenge was run by Fields in Trust and was set up to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012. It aims to protect a diverse range of outdoor spaces across the UK to ensure they remain a permanent legacy guaranteed for future generations to enjoy.  They will also be eligible for improvement funds restricted to Queen Elizabeth II Fields.
