Grange Paddocks Leisure Centre
Building
Grange Paddocks Pool and Gym offers the local community a range of indoor and outdoor facilities.
Outside there are 13 sports pitches and a 1500m trim trail for runners. Indoors is serviced by a cr�che, meeting room, two swimming pools, gym and group exercise studio.
If you are looking for a gym in Bishops Stortford, our gym is stocked with the very latest fitness equipment including Trixter bikes and TRX suspension training system. The swimming pools offer our award winning swim school as well as a range of water based activities.

Interactive Play Zone

Exciting new interactive play equipment with lights and sound.
PlayAlive interactive electronic playgrounds use lights, sounds and touch sensors to reinvent outdoor play for children by introducing them to a series of exciting, addictive, multisensory games. The interactive systems engage children in active play while simultaneously challenging their speed, memory, coordination, and the ability to think on their feet and make fast decisions. The playgrounds easily adapt to users of all ages and abilities through multiple installation configurations and a wide range of interactive games.

Park Information
The Leisure Centre and Gym is located here, together with a combination of senior and junior football pitches, a running track with free to use equipped community fitness zones and lovely walks through the open space.Â
There is also a popular walk from Sworders Field in the town centre across Grange Paddocks along the River Stort and through woodland and meadowland into Red, White and Blue Open space.Â
Two new separate play areas have recently been installed in the open space by the Leisure Centre – an enclosed younger children’s play area and an adjacent but separate area for older children with interactive electronic play equipment and a new table tennis table.Â
The Community Fitness Trail has three workout fitness stations located at points on the marked grass running track around the open space.  Â
There are also opportunities for geocaching within the park.
