Broadway Gardens and Walk was developed following receipt of a £1 million grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. The layout and design of the gardens reflects the initial aspirations of Ebenezer Howard who was responsible for principals and designs of the world's first Garden City.
The gardens has been awarded a Green Flag status. The Green Flag award scheme is the benchmark national standard for parks and green spaces in the UK.

This includes local and exotic beers courtesy of Crafty's, a whole range of world foods from Thai to Ghanian, live music, beer pong, apple pressing, kids activities and lots more.
