Park Information

Canal Fields is the main park in Berkhamsted. It is an attractive green space, centrally located between the High Street and Berkhamsted railway station, with a picnic area, skate park and a well equipped play area.

The park also benefits from the presence of the River Bulbourne, the Grand Union Canal and Berkhamsted Bowls Club. Free parking is available, with access from Broadwater. The park has achieved the Green Flag Award, the national standard for parks and open spaces in England and Wales, six times since 2007.

Public Transport Information:

The mainline station (London Midland line from Euston) is only 10 minutes’ walk away, and the Arriva 353, and 32/32a bus services stop at Lower Kings Road. Other bus routes pass through the nearby High Street.
