Purwell Recreation Ground

In addition to the two formal sports pitches the site offers a wide range of activities. It has a well equipped play area catering for children of all ages. In addition to kicking a ball about the grass there is a hard surfaced ball court that is lit by street lights and has a youth shelter and seating for spectators. An exercise zone contains a range of exercise equipment. There is chalk stream flowing through the site which has its source in the adjacent nature reserve details here.
